Get off the beaten path and off the main strada. Climb the streets(stairs) to the far north side. Find this outdoor restaurant, Lady Pi-Pi. Sit under covered Lattice work. Watch the meat and fish grilled outdoors right before you. I had the meat platter and it was wonderful!!!! Get in early when they open or plan to wait 30-45 minutes. It'll be worth it. Trust me. :)
We went there 2 nights in a roll while in Dubrovnik- 15 & 16 September...absolutely yummilious and first night we were lucky waited only 15 minutes.
Second night about an hour but worth the wait. The seafood platter and sausages were delicious and fresh....we love it and highly recommended to all who visit Dubrovnik to have a go at Lady Pi Pi ��

Worth every one of the 1000 steps (at least that is what it felt like). Amazing food and atmosphere for a very reasonable price. A must visit when in Dubrovnik!
My family and I stumbled upon Lady Pi-Pi accidentally. The... unique... statue at the restaurant's entrance first caught our eyes and the gorgeous, vine-draped terrace overlooking the city convinced us to stay for dinner.
The hardy portions of meats and fishes were grilled in front of us over an open fire on the rooftop. There was more than enough to take back to the hotel for the next day. Take the walk for this place. It's well worth the climb.
Best grilled food, top notch service. Absolutely lovely people and we will definitely be back to taste some of that amazing food.

Tres chouette ,beaucoup de charme, super agréable de manger sous la vegetation et très bon! en plus le personnel très souriant. ...le seul problème.... allez y un peu avant l heure où tout le monde veut manger car sinon vous n aurez pas de place et il y a la file devant la porte du jardinet. .. belles vacances. ...

Amazing restaurant Wonderful location, you have a view of old town. We had mixed grill for two. It was so delicious but was far too much to eat for just the two of us. We didn't book a table and had to wait for a table for 45 minutes. It definetly was worth to wait
