the lunchtime litre klub had it's thirst (if you pardon the pun) successful meeting today;
a cold day in Zagreb is no deterrent for beer;
žeđ ne pita;
& as the Beatles once said -
"money can buy me beer my friend
but money can't buy me gloves"
& may I add, who needs gloves when holding a litre of cold beer!
And a litre builds strength (among other advantages);
I've carried puno gajbi piva from one side of this galaxy to the other, even Dolac,
seen a lot of strange stuff; but sinking
litres at lunchtime, now
that's something to believe in!
The heaviness of the world unforgettably lifted in an instant of satisfaction,
even if the stones said "you can't get no..."; don't believe them, or do
believe them, but simply order another.
On a personal note, my days of glove wearing in public are over! I like the feel
of a nice glass;
a perfectly poured beer;
the exact temperature; & that perfect "pjena";
so jako dobro; "full" dobro ; may liquid lunchtimes last forever -
even if you are believer in echo and the bunnymen, or the story of nothing
ever lasts forever;
this takes time; time well spent.
