What best describes this restaurant is the fact that our family and friends in Makarska - after a week of treating us to only the finest in local food and traditional eateries - picked this place for a farewell dinner to crown our amazing visit. Jež is fine dining at its best: good food sourced from the highest quality local ingredients, a menu that ventures way beyond the tourist staples when delving into what Dalmatian cuisine means - while keeping in accordance with the rich, yet uncomplicated authenticity of the region; and true, professional, knowledgeable and very pleasant service and hospitality. This place is an absolute must if you would like to explore what true Dalmatian cuisine is like.
