Absolutely loved it!!!
We booked a table for special ocasion. It turned out to be the best place we could choose! The hosts were friendly and polite, very pleasent people so we had a feeling like being home. We even had Christmas tree and fireplace there just for us. Beside warm welcome, we started the lunch with apertizers that they make from cherry, walnut, grape, and some other fruits. I recommend cherry liquer, but I believe everything else is also great! As starter, we had several types of smoked ham and cheese, all domestic food, it was delicious! I never tried so good cheese, they make it on their own farm and when coming there, you can see all the small sheeps playing around. Very interesting to see! As a main course, we had lamb and veal under the bell, wich is traditional way of prepearing food in theese area. It was top quality of meat, very tasty, properly prepeared! We had homemade red and white wines from local vineyards, and it was all perfect!
The lady hosts made homemade traditional cakes for ocassion, and we enjoyed it a lot. I recommend you this place if looking for pleasant and private ambient, good food and friendly service!

I ate a lot of meals there because it was the best restaurant during my last vacation in Croatia. Konoba Knez can be described in two words: food paradise. They serve great local food made of best quality and only homemade ingredients. They serve dishes in a way that would not be ashamed of the best restaurant and you can feel very relaxed at the same time. If you have a dream to eat something just close your eyes, start dreaming but not forget to tell them about what is you wish, they will make it real. I still smell great steaks, lamb and goat under the belly, fresh fish caught in the morning from grill or marvelous octopus in Dalmatian style, all of this with tasty side dishes topped with excellent local drinks produced in local cellars ;-) Remember to call them in advance to be sure that you will have a good table and reserve few hours for wonderful and unforgettable dining experience.
Great ambience, the food was fantastic and the service was very nice. We can only recommend this place and I am sure we will be back soon.
